no set procedure but ill tell you what i did exactly

270 litre bare bottom tank - feed frozen brime / pelllet mon - wednesday

50% w / change with cooler yet heated aged water thursday - feed live worm

50 % w/change friday as above feed live worm

50 % w/change saturday, feed live worm

sunday spawn!

- a drastic improvement in conditions and food will often do it!

note - it took me 3 weeks to condition my fish to a stage were i had them spawning every weekend. ( they would start shivering when i was filling the tank )
