Lovely shape Jim. As for the colour ........... hmm I think it may be a cross between a red turk and a rose red. An usual colour, but very attractive.

Colour I think we would class it as "Brown". Could have possibly come from a Red Turq throwback. It's quite common.

Now all we need is to grow this fish to 9inches and then we can show in and it will place in the brown class. :lol:

Makes me happy that other people like him. He is my favorite fish, he likes when i pet him. Ya be good but i don't now if he will grow any more.

After seeing him last night,I too think your done a great job of him considering it and it mates fell sick just after you got them.(nothing to do with you i think)
5 inchs plus tail for a young discus that has been threw abit.
