we just did a water change, and cleaned the inside of the tank a bit, and then the problems with the fish appeared, i think the spongey thing used to clean the inside of the tank had some bleach on it, but i rinsed the sponge for quite a while before using it.

Do immediate water changes.
You will need to do constant changes till all the old water in the tank has been replaced with fresh water.
If you don't have any aged water, just use water from the tap but be sure to use dechlorinator in the water.
It sounds like the sponge you used may have had an antibacterial agent in it. Some of the sponges today are made like that, and it's toxic to your fish.
Keep up with the salt treatment, and keep changing that water. We have to flush the whole tank. Remove any plants, driftwood etc and gravel. They could all have absorbed the antibacterial agent and will have to be thoroughly cleaned before you put them back in the tank.
Good luck and keep us posted.
