Need confirmation on fish ID

Hi,

I bought some juvenile fishes from SLS several months back and have doubts about the identities of 2 of them. One was a cobalt and the other was supposed to be a red melon. Could anyone please help confirm the strains of the 2 fishes?

I am by no means an expert so could be totally wrong, but I think the top one is some sort of red turq and the bottom one a gold melon of some sort?

someone else should be able to confirm their identities/strains...with much more surety..... :wink:

Hi Sammi,

Thanks for your help. I just wanted to know what they were because these 2 fishes seemed to have paired up and have been pecking on the tank glass for the last 2 days. So now I have to try and guess what their offspring is going to look like. I know that its still early to know if the breeding will be successful but its getting me excited. I think the "Red Turq" is the female and the melon is the male.
