Water Testing Products !!!

Hi All,

I am curious what brand test kits do you recommend, as i have two different ones which give different results, and i want to know which is most likely to be accurate out of those and what brand should i buy next. I want accurate tests not easy tests if you get my meaning.

oh and seperate to that i believe you cannot use peat and carbon together, so which one should i use ?

Aquarium Pharmaceuticals are a very good maker of water testers.

You can use peat and carbon together.
the carbon will help clarify the peat colour of the water.

some carbons make the PH rise, whilst as you know peat makes the PH fall, so there can be a conflict between the 2. But other than that it is fine to use both.

Personally I find JBL & Sera very good.

JBL is especially good for people with poor eyesight as well using there plastic slide grid thingie
