Might be a bit of a dumb question but are the eggs of discus just the same colour for all discus or do they have multiple colours for different types of discus???

i dont think they are all the same color... i've seen reddish and orange-ish eggs on the net ..but eggs from my pairs are bit yellowish close to clear. i'd say it also affected by the food ...

clear, yellowish = not fertilised...
they will usually go fungal or get eaten unless a Male makes them change.

Forgot to elaborate previously...
They only go dark after the Male has passed over them and fertilised them, so if they stay clear/yellow they wont produce any little un's...

COLOURS VARY FOLKS!!
my scorpion eggs are as yellow as the sun yet after 2 days they develop black dots
strange ?? maybe, but he isnt shooting blanks.
ive fed them premium discus pellet food just to see if there is a change and no nothing diffrent.
ps the non fertile ones still go as white as tic tacs.. My old melon pair had nice dark orange eggs , these are perhaps most common.
