Just arrived this morning, one of our largest shipment of high quality discus ever!!

This shipment will be available from the 16th March onwards.


We start with Breeding pairs of some exotic discus fish. These are fish that have bred and raised before.

Fish are sent by Australian Air Express to your nearest airport for collection.

hmmm.. i wonder why the RGD-s are stated as 'clean' when pure goldens don't posess pigeon traits of having 'dirty' black pigmentation ?

Hi blackdiscus,

I have an RGD at home from the current shipment - so I will try to explain to you why they are "clean".

RGD's are made using goldens and red rose lines. Thus, the base of the fish will be red, and the golden gene will remove the stress bar down the face and tail of the rose red. However, in times of stress, the RGD will have a black swirl through its fins (just as a rose red always does) however, this will go away when the fish calms down (whereas rose red is permanent).

Also, the RGD has a completely clean face and body - no peppering. This is currently the only white face/red body fish that has these traits. Hence why Kev uses the term "clean" to draw attention to it.
