Help for fin rot

I have a pigeon who is not well. He started of with white stringy poo and was not eating. Water conditions are great and have treated him for worms.White poo has gone but fish has severe fin rot. Fish has started eating , not as well but eating.What can i do as far as the rot goes. Do i just does him with salt or do i medicate him[/img][/list]
