Powerheads Pump Q's???

Hi all,

I got my Powerheads pump, mainly i use for changing water.
Just a pre-caution Q's will the unit damage if there is no water when using the pump e.g let it run dry???

Powerheads need to be immersed in water to avoid overheating. They'll seize up if run dry for any length of time.

Thanks for that Littefish...luckily i did not leave it to run dry.
I was under the impresion it can be use on dry and wet :oops:

i agree with Littlefish make sure it pumps water, if not....when it pumps air.....it will burn out and you will do your hard earned cash... :oops: ...Jim
