How many say adult discus can I comfortably fit in a bare bottom,4x2x2,with about 8-10 anubias on logs and its filtered by a side drop filter.

your tank will be 439L and i go by the 40L per adult discus rule so thatd be 10-11 adults... thats just the way i work out my stocking though, others may have other ways :D

You could have up to 12 but I'd recommend getting 9. Better to be a little conservative. Also leaves you with a bit of extra space for some tetras, rams, catfish etc.
