Need some recommendation in finding a good fluro light for my 60 gallon planted tank. I was told 2 or 2.5 watts per gallon, but all the local pet shop carry up to 40 watts only.

You will need around 150W to get good growth on your plants so maybe four 36w floro's would be perfect or you can go for T5's or maybe a single 150W Metal Hailde light which would be very good.
You should aim for around the 6000K range in your bulbs so the plants can use the light becuase around 10,000K range plants can't use that colour.
