Artificially raising fry...

I would like to see what our thoughts are on artificially raising discus fry.

It could be a rather controversial issue but would like to hear about the positives and negatives.

i think it is ok but much easier to just have the discus do it. i would think you need half as much more spare time to raise them yourself.

Is it true that young discus that were raised artificially make bad parents themselves?
(maybe not as good parents) or it simply does not matter.......?
