Well they are both heavily working the cone as we speak. I'd say we are about a week off from getting some eggs.
They are approximately 6 inch in size and are 15 months of age.
Very agile pair, very diffrent to others , they are content to move around slowly and peck the cone.
Fingers crossed folks,
Merrilyn

Good luck with them Nick, they are lovely fish, and welcome back to the world of discus. I can see that one tank turning into many tanks LOL
Once the discus bug bites, you never really get rid of it.

Ive been getting some queries about purchases so i thought id update you all.
past 3 days they have really upped the eating so ive matched the w/c to suit.
Heavy pecking today which was pleasing to see. If experience tells me anything we might have a good few days coming.
fingers crossed

HI Jamie,
No mate, no luck with these fish just yet. Personally dont think they are ready yet and the tank size hasn't helped.
They are now in a 4 x 2 x 2 and hopefully this will motivate them some what.
cheers

alot of people are using smaller tanks such as 2x18x18 and i am starting to think tank size is a real issue with getting pairs to breed properly! have u tried them in a smaller tank?
cheers Jamie
