I live near Camden in the south west of Sydney and in two weeks time I will be driving to Brisbane to visit the inlaws.
I know of a good aquarium shop in the northern suburbs of Brisbane that I always check out whenever up there, but have never purchased Discus due to the 13 hour drive back home.
Can Discus be transported for 24-26 hours? And if so, how?

as long as they are packed well, you will have no problems...
maybe you should check SLS out, saves you having to drive so far to get some fish...
btw, Welcome to DF.com Arnie.

Put them on leashes attached to the car and drive down the coast, then maybe by the time you get home they will be acclimatised too the salt water, or be shark food which ever comes first.
On a serious note, if the supllier knows what they are doing it shouldnt be a hassle.

Thank you all for the advise. Yes I will check out SLS this weekend and I might try and follow flukes advise as long as I can get hold of about 100m of rope.
