I love them. Fantastic fish.

I have only 1 Penang Erruption, it's about 5 inches. I think they are an absoolutley superb strain, and a good specimen really takes the cake.

Hi Oscar,
PE strain is much more stable these days, that's why i got them. In the beginning the genes were not stabilized and lots of hormones were given to enhance the spots and many died.

I have a few different spotted strains from different breeders and all of them have their own distinctive beauty. The PEs eyes are amazing. The SEs from Wayne is also amazing; very healthy, high fin high body and the redness. 3 of my GLSSi has also very nice spots. Since you like spotted Discus, I'll post a few different ones mentioned above to share with you. How about some photos of your PE?

tks mate for the comps. Yes, they're my new breeding stock. Got some Spotted Leopards and getting some RSG in the coming weeks. They all will be going into my new breeding program for Spots.

tks for the comps. Which part of Melbourne are u at? used to live there. Just curious as to here you get your fish from as I don't remember seeing any LFS there. But at that time I wasn't into aquatics. Still have fond memories of Carlton and Lygon St.
