View Full Version : I HAVE WRIGGLERS!!! -update

Last night for the first time I had some eggs hatch!!

The parents had been eating the eggs and I didn't have an egg guard so I put a clear partition between them and the eggs and so far it has proved successful. As soon as I moved it they came over and starting caring for them.

Now I just have to hope that when I get home from work that they haven't eaten them after being seperated like they were. At least now I know that I have a male and female.

Well today they have entered their 9th Day of free swim. As far as I can tell there is about 50 of them about .5-.75 cm long.

Today I was finally able to get my hands on some frozen baby brine shrimp which I will feed them later but some did eat a little beef heart last night. I was planning on leaving the parents in there until I finish work - 22nd December. Is this too long?

P.S. Parents have been doing a fantastic job.

congratulations!!!! its so anoying when they eat the eggs but the end result is very pleasing ;)
