Hi,
one of my discus has a fat stomach and the rest are skinny, just want to no if it is consitpation or is it worms. Do i need to treat with epsom salt?. What your opinion?

Hi,
thanks for ya replys but 1 hour after i posted this i noticed that the fish stomach had gone back to normal so i imagine all the food has passed through. He is a little fat pig thats all i think

Yes they are little pigs Tim!
I find 30 minutes after feeding them, give them a water change and they will pass the food quickly as new fresh water seems to increase there metabolism.

My young fish do the same thing,they will just keep eating if there food to eat and there belly get that big you think I should back off with the food a little.But as Ben said its a shore thing there going poo when you do a w/c on them as you clean the bottom of the tank but by the time your refilled it its got poo every where again.

I've heard that feeding them frozen brine shrimp also helps with digestion - is that right?
