Hi Guys recently my Tank water has gone a merky green colour, so I think its got algae growing in the water, Im changing 50% of water daily to overcome the problem.
I think the problem started when I intoduced plants into the water, If I got rid of these plants would it fix my problem :?:

Hi
Just to help us with you question:
What fertilisers are you using and how long has the tank been running for.
Are you using a substrate fertiliser?
Have you measeured your phosphate levels, are you using ph adjusters?
Thanks

No ferts
No Ph adjusters
Tanks been running 12 months
No I havent checked Phosphate levels
Im thinking maybe some direct sunlight may have caused my Algae bloom, because ive done nothing diferent,
Two water changes a week ,

WC won't help it go away any quicker,Don't stress the fish will be OK.
Did anything die in the tank?
It will go away sooner or later by itself,Or get a UV in couple of day's it will be gone.
Did you clean any of your filter's?
If the plant's are the only thing you did different, Then i would say that you disturbed the substrate and that gave you a amonium spike which brought on the GW.
