Errrm dreamer, Yellow tangs I odered in "Small" and "Medium".... got no measurement in cm or inches. Will see when they come.
Blennies and gobbies coming on following shipment from Bali. As u know, Indonesia with their Hari Raya festivities, the whole country isn't exactly functioning commercially. Only expect to get the stock list next week, so will see what interesting gobbies and blennies we can import.

G-1000, I doubt there could possibly be reservations for 100pc of L168?? (I might be completely wrong.. these may again be sold out!) I'm not at liberty to give prices atm, but a ball park ficure would be around about the $65 mark for the small ones. (Don't hold me to it! or I'll be getting another phone call from Michella!! )

Vincent, what pics? U take the scientific names I posted, and u paste it on Google, click on "Images" and Bob's your uncle.
Price... u know I can't say yet. U're better off calling the shop when fish are released. What more angels are u after??

you will probably need to wait longer than next week :p
addition of nice blennies/gobies would be nice .... are importing corals as well?
kevkoi
Sat Nov 05, 2005, 01:28 AM
Dreamer, Australia doesn't allow the importation of coral or invertebrates. So no coral, no clams, no shrimps, no startfish.....
__________________________________________________ _____
Merman, sorry I can't give a price on Weitzmani. Hard fish to ship.

Vincent, the koi angels are as good as it's going to get mate... Hand selected the best of the pond harvest. (1000 fish brought up from the ponds.... I was first to choose 100pc and they're now in quarantine).

With the increase in freight prices, the box charge to Melb is $60 by Australian Air Express. Can fit quite a few fish in there so sharing the box charge is a good option for Melbournians. Also good opportunity to meet fanatical hobbyist...... always a good day out to compare fish.

Large peruvians are actually for display fish to show what the small ones turn out like (ie HUGE!). How many u want? Can get as many jumbos as anyone would want except they take up a heluva lot of space in frieght and in quarantine.
The altums this round are not german tankbreds. These are medium size Venezualan altums.

G'day Kev,
Do you think you will be getting any of the German tank bred Orinoco's in any time soon ? I'm itching to get my hands on some. I assume the Venezualan Altums are wild caught ? Any chance of getting a ball park $$$ figure on the wild caught ones ?
Cheers,
Dee :)

Mon Nov 28, 2005, 06:38 AM
hey discus dee.. moved yet? i got some wild caught venezualan altums from sls about 2 months ago. They were tiny when i got them but now the're about 11cm tall. I dont know what all the fuss is about cause these guys that i got are as tough as nails. I keep them at a ph of about 7.4 and they pretty much eat anything that floats around like brine shrimp, bloodworms and tetra bits (for some reason they dont go for frozen blocks like beef heart). They dont sulk like discus and pretty much act like normal angels from your lfs except the're so much more graceful and tall.
Dee

Heya Paul :)
Thanks for the info on the wild caught altums, I might have to get some  Sent you a pm mate. :)
Cheers,
Dee :)
