Is red melon just another name for a malboro red?
I have a malboro red that looks almost identical.... :?
Great looking pair...

What constitutes a marlboro or a red melon?
My understanding is that melons are basically a clean (no peppering or black tails) and solid coloured marlboro, therefore a marlboro cannot be a melon. Although I'm not sure how they get the lighter coloured head on melons? I have always associated marlboro's as having white striations on their foreheads. What are others thoughts?

My malboro looks like it would be a "Super malboro" .... It has little or no black on any of the fins like bens ones so it might just be a "Red melon"...u never no..
If u read this kev the discus im talking about is one of the 4-5inch males u got in on the last shipment....maybe u can help identify wat i have?...

I have 5 adult red malboros from the same litter, 2 look like 'clean' melons except black fins, one is checkerboard like - white - red, 1 is like a peppered melon with black fins, 1 a peppered melon, white stripes. Mixed lot and very individual ;)
