What is the best U.V steriliser brand ?

Hey Guys,

If you could get your hands on ANY U.V steriliser - which one would it be and why ?

Based on use, personally and also instore/quarantine environment

1, AquaUV (De-Bary) top quality brand, very effective and reliable.

2, PondMaster (AquaOne) uses the same Philips tube as the expensive brands, has a remote ballast, very effective and reliable at a reasonable price.

I have heard that the De-Bary UV's are excellent!
I use the AA internal UV's and one coralife turbo twister.

The internal UV's are excellent, but one downside is the sponge on the intake needs to be washed very frequently....as much as twice per day.

The Coralife UV's are great but are not certified in Australia as of yet.

Two weeks ago i purchased a 15w external Aqua Pro from age of aqauriums and i am very happy with it, the price is $193 which is cheap. I was also pleased with the design and easiness of the uv. Tank is crystal clear now from the uv.

Got some laguna's but the the De-bary's are the best available.
