I have noticed that our gh is sitting on about 6 in our discus tank... 10 in our oscar tank and 14 in our guppie tank.... The only tank that we actually add conditioning crystals to is the Guppie tank as we need it to be hard. The others we only add water ager to rid of chlorine and chloramines.
Can anyone please advise how to lower the GH naturally without affecting other parameters....
current parameters in discus tank are:
PH 7 Kh 4 gh 6 nitrite 0 nitrate 10-20ppm ( it is a planted tank with driftwood and pond pebbles as well as gravel and shellgrit...)
I am happy with all but the GH. Please help.... :(
