What is everybody's favourite strain of discus?

Personally, I like the golden leopard spotted snakeskin

Good question G,

I go for the solid, clean discus colour types....
like
blue diamonds
solid goldens
solid reds like san merahs.

But in saying that, give me a real wild heckel any day!

I like clean malboro reds .. the ones with no black fins .... :wink: but there is a whole heap of discus that i like ...

I'm a big fan of the old school turqs, red and blue. Red Alenquer's are another fave, although Albino's are fast becoming a fave too :wink:

Also a big fan of wild Heckles and wild Tefe Rsg's !

I love them all and can't decide... but I must say i am attracted to solider type colours with striations on the face... like the red alenquers get and then... oh heck.... I just love them all..... :lol: :lol:

gotta say I love the wild stuff - greens are my favour at the moment. Not into the RSG much except the peruvian stuff. Love Heckles as well. The hybrids look too artificial to me

solids are ok also if in variety of colors, my yellow and blue and red solids look so cool, but the ones in the pic look awesome too. btw, my newest and LAST discus addition is the one behind in this pic (blue red stripes), what does everyone think from 1-10? (dont matter to me, i love them reguardless, but just curious)

I have now changed my mind a little - I like blue diamonds and RGD's and really like golden albinos/red rabbit eye albinos

If only my new tank would get here sooner :(
