Sacem Marathon Canister Filters

Im intrested in getting one of the Secam Mararthon Canisters ... the 1000 or 2000 model. Anyone had experience with these ? if so what are the general opinions on them ?

I have a Sacem Marathon 1500 which I use as a back up filter. (have had it for several years).

Cant complain, very quiet and effective.
