can mono's live ok with discus???

just a quick question, can mono's and discus co-exist in a tank?

No. Period.

Monos are brackish marines. They may tolerate fresh water as juveniles, but they will need more and more salt and higher pH as they grow to adults.

Basically Monos and Discus are on the complete opposite ends. Discus = Soft Acidic water. Mono = Hard alkaline water with marine salt.
