Lovely fish Gav. Good high body shape. Would I be right in saying they are about 3 - 4 years old?

Have they spawned for you yet. They should give you some lovely offspring.

Blue diamonds??

Nice blue colour.....If they had blood red eyes they would look awsome 8-) ...

close to that red, they have spawned twice for me, but no success with hatching yet. I am still very new to discus. they have spawned quite a bit for the previous owner, and he sold a lot of their offspring.

not sure on type, still lots to learn on discus, so was hoping maybe someone else could tell me exactly what type they are. having bought them as adults from a breeder i was told what they were, but managed to forget cos i didnt write it down. i got them the same day i got a new rack, so was quite distracted. so any help on type is much appreciated :)

Gav, they are either a blue diamond or an ocean green. Without seeing a pic of them in natural sunlight, I can't be sure.

When the light hits them just right, you can see a green shine to the scales, whereas a blue diamond will have only blue reflecting.
