without any doubt whatsoever, the discus in your avatar is my desired discus. actually i may have one growing of similar beauty i hope (bottom left - they say they get full coloration only as adults; so i hope it turns out as it was in pic where i bought it)

for me variety is all that matters

desired colours with discus are like fashion trends at times.

the demand is more about quality then the strain type.

when i first began in the hobby a good blue diamond or a turq were the big thing not forgetting the old pigeon blood strain.


these days IMO people are seeking heavily red spotted fish. albinos or your solid reds.

this is one of my old fish ( san merah )

excuse teh flash its made it rather light towards the centre.
