first spawn- question on 2nd day of spawn ?

is it normal to have a few eggs turn white after 24 hours ???
is this the sign that all eggs inferterlize ????

Hi marlbred, welcome to the forum.

You have a very nice pair of marlboro reds there. The front fish looks like a yellow face marlboro red, nice colour and good shape, with no peppering.

The second fish is a bit harder to see, also a marlboro red, but not as intense in colour.

Well done on the spawn. You're obviously doing things right :P

Yer it is common for eggs to go white if they are infertile not really sure how long it takes, havent noticed as long as most of em hatch all is good. :wink:
