Hi guys iam thinking about dropping my ph from 7.2 to 6.4 I have tested in my water storage tank HCl (aq) what are your thoughts on this .
Also i have 2 cube tanks with breeding pair (not) and Quarn tank what i have dicovered Amm levels are present 0.25 .i water change daily sometimes up to 90 percent I did check drum and found the same readings 0.25ppm will check it again for amm a few more times

Vince, I wonder what the reading is straight out of your tap.

Might be an idea to set a glass of water aside, and do a reading after 24 hours.
