hi everyone just thought id ask my discus are cleaning the cone the female mainly but as the female cleanns she will go up the cone like shes going to lay but she dosent, also somtimes when the female is cleaning she chases the male awy then when he comes back and shivers next to him then the process starts again is this whole thing normal cheers matt :D :D

Sounds normal to me, you should get some eggs in a couple of days

This is all very normal behaviour in young pairs. If you watch, you will see her make several trial runs up the cone, just checking things out before she actually lays any eggs.

It's a fascinating process, and one well worth watching.
