Thanks to the support given by members of the ADA and DF, Slippery Little Suckers is proud to announce the list of fish on our upcoming shipment arriving on the 12th May. This will be another stunning lot of top grade hand selected fish....

Do you have any pics of the Super San Merah's???

I have gone to 3-4 sites after doing a Google on these guys, and I seem to be getting totally different fish...

...so are they a solid colour or white faced???

The picture on Mac's discus and pic by aquafishworld are Super San merahs.

I will get a pic from the breeder (actually he sent me the pic, but I seem to have deleted it!) of the fish which are coming.

These fish were originally created thru a cross between an Alenquer red discus to a Ghost discus. These fish do not bar up, and do not have the problems of the Marlboro red type fish that tend to speckle/dust up. The red on these fish are also a much deeper maroon red as compared to the persimon red colour of the melons and marlboro strains. The San merah strain was perfected by a Malaysian breeder, Mr See Cheow San, hence "San" from his name and "Merah" literally means red in the Malay language.

Yes... only ONE. This one is flawless. I picked this fish when I was in Malaysia last year (with the help of breeder of course). Again, was suppose to be a show entrant at the end of the year discus comp.... It's THAT GOOD a FISH if it is well fed and bulked up, will stand a good chance of placing at the Discus show. :wink: Price is yet to be determined... Will let you know when they clear quarantine.

Leopard spotted snakeskins at 3.5"-4" (note these sizes are Standard Lenght, and does not include tail!) will be at usual price of -- $280. Have already sold in excess of 10 of these fish in the last 2 shipments. VERY good quality.

San Merah 3" are on special for $100 a fish..... this is our "Special" fish at extremely good price for what they are.

The rest of the prices we will let you know as soon as the fish clear quarantine... or just prior. :wink:

Kev, when are they being released from quarantine ready for sale?

They will be released on the 26th May and in the shop by 27th. Best days to come are on the 28th and 29th as the fish would have settled in and look at their very very best.

All the fish came in today. Just spent half the day at the airport clearing customs and quarantine and the other half unpacking the fish. EXCEPTIONAL quality discus... EVEN BETTER than the last shipment! Quality only goes UP! Be prepared to bring some tissues to catch drool... :lol:
