Some of them I do but not all.
My Female Pigeon Blood I call Princess, My Marlboro Red I call Marly, My Blue Turquoise is Turky, Female Blue Diamond, Red Turquoise and my Gold Pigeon/Red Marlboro Cross have no names and my Gold Pigeon is called Mr Nasty because he picks on the Pigeon Cross all the time.
I haven't bothered with names for my brsitlenose, tetras etc in the community tank, but I have a large Knife Fish (called Knifie) and a large Clown Loach (called Loachie), so as you can see, all my fish have very "Original" names!!.

I am very boring,
names go by age, like
wrigglers
fry
juvies
and the adults go by their colour variation, like,
blue diamonds
snake skins
rsg
well, i guess you get the picture!
i am very boring but they do get named!

I named my BGK "Bowie" because, well, he's a knife. But also because there's a Phish song called "David Bowie" that I like a lot.
I named my 11-12" pleco Cheney 'cause he's mean and hides a lot (Aussies may not get that).
The discus all have names too...

I consider naming fish to be bad luck. I picked up the superstition as a kid when I was first starting to keep fish, and my favorite would inevitably die of Ich.
