eggs on canister filter intake

Hi,this my pairs 5th attempt and the eggs are now 2 days old with minimal fungused eggs.unfortunately this time they have laid on the intake of my canister filter.dropping wriglers would be sucked straight in.Should i put a foam block over intake?any other suggestions?

turn off the filter

buy another intake

reconnect filter

turn it back on?

i think if you put a sponge over the intake now they would eat there young :cry:

Or you can turn off that filter and use sponge filter instead.
