water purifiying

hello everyone woulda good quality water purifiying unit be ok to soften my water comes out the tap at 130ppm so i tested a jug of water in fridge with a filter in it that came out at 70ppm so if i got one to go on the tap would that be ok. cheers matt :D

To be honest its not the gh ppm thats scares me its all the other crap thats in the water!
likle chlorine, flouride etc,

try an ro unit mate, you will be very pleased! as was I .....
