I noticed a week ago my bd flicking past an amazon sword leaf he still does this and now two others have adopted the same actions.
The bd was off his food for alittle while but seems to eat a small amout of
food
is this a behavior normal or is it more than that

The occasional flick against things in the tank is probably okay, but you say they three of them are now doing it. This may suggest the beginnings of gill flukes or even velvet.

Observe them for a little longer, and maybe do some bigger water changes and see if that helps. If the behaviour continues, or if you see other signs, you will probably need to medicate.
