no i am not sure
i based my guesstimation on it's large size (biggest of the spawn) and it's behaviour amongst the girls in the tank. it has been dancing around the females like an old male used to do. knowing my luck it is probably another lesbian female.....i tend to attract lesbian discus...it's doing my head in. hahaha
why do you think it is a female? if so could you please explain your theory to me.
i am by no means good at picking the sex of discus so i may very well be wrong.
i also thing the pigeon blood pictured is a male as well. what do you think?
and YES the turq and snake skin are beautiful fish! (thanks again mate for taking such good care of me)
although you where wrong when you sold them to me...you where positive that one was a male (can't remember which one you said) but they are both females. in fact they have such a strong bond they still spawn together about once a week. they both lay eggs at the same time and then protect them passionately! even if i get myself a male i doubt i would be able to break their bond without removing one from the tank.
do you have any tips on breaking a female + female spawning bond?

hey don't laugh man...i seriously have a tank full or lesbains...hahahhaa
it took me ages to get some spawning discus only to find that they where all females....
at one stage o had to pairs in my tank....all females!!!!
what are the odds or having 2 lesbains pairs!!!!
