hi guys, i stole this picture from another discus forum....

i just had to show you guys..

i think it is unbelievable! i would kill to have this tank

Very nice... although maybe a bit crowded...

Those cross Heckel's look nice as well (maybe a cross with a turquoise), the prominent 5th vertical stripe really stands out... something I havent seen in any Discus down here yet.

OMG, how deep is that substrate!!! :shock:

What Cross heckels Rohan? They're as pure as can be.... Those are the heckels.

The "Heckel" on the right is def not a cross, but the one on the far left??? not so sure about that one...

It's the flash photography... Heckels do have a blueish face. From the looks of it I'd dare say he has a tank full of wildcaughts... Wild heckels and wild caught Altum angels.

... and NO, that is NOT Nornicle's tank :lol: (sorry to burst your bubble prematurely Richard)..... although if anyone can get access readily to those fish, Richard can. :wink: *hint-- Richard, u wan't those Altums?* :lol: :lol: :lol:

Actually the more I look at the image, the more I think maybe they are pure Heckels (guess who didnt factor in lighting, and probable flash use)

Matt, do you have any more details from where you "Borrowed" the image from...

That is one great looking tank...

Will have to take a print out of that tank home to show the wife... Still trying to convince her that we should replace the 5' tank with an 8' tank... Not much success so far... :cry:

they are bloody unbelievable heckels...
kev i would love to say "get some of those suckas" but it would be waaaaaayyy to expensive for my budget.....but just in case...what are we looking at mate?

Heckels... Wildcaught at 8cm when available would retail for $240.

No tank breds available.... There are occasional heckel crosses, but have not seen pure tank bred heckels unfortunately.
