basically about breeding.

would a discus of not the same kind breed with another?

like would a turquise discus breed with a diamond blue..?

or a red dragon with a turq?
or is it like being a bifferent species to them?

Yes discus of different strains do pair up.
Actually that's how breeders get all the different colors and patterns.

In a group of 6 discus, you will most likely get one pair, sometimes two. It's a bit of a gamble, but you can increase the odds by looking for three of the larger, more colourful discus, and then three of the smaller, not quite so colourful fish.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It depends on the age at which you choose the fish.
