Silly little fishes

People,

I have a discus that seems to be bloating. Only in the area where i would say that its organs are.

Any ideas anyone. Water parameters are all fine look slike the bugger has picked up some sort of disease just want to know what would cause such a symptom.

i have heard that epsom salts will help to unblock bloated discus.

i have never personally done it before...i actually bought some epsom salts but then the bloated discus basically spewed up a massive poo like things...kinda gross.

anyway... i was told 1 tbl spoon epsom salt per 40 ltr water. they said it is a little rough on the fish but works. aparently it makes the fish poo and vomit whatever is in it.

do this at your own risk as like i said i have never done it myself before

I have used Epsom Salts with Gourami and Rams previously with very quick success... never tried it on Discus, but have read that it does work...

Could be internal worms, you should buy Frarazin medication and follow the instruction of it, i actually never do it before, but i used to have 2 blue diamonds died because of that symptom. When i know, it was late. ok good luck Wayne.
