Just woundering what people have experienced with spawn wrigglers in community Tanks :?:
Ive had my Turq pair lay eggs wrigglers etc. that have lived for about a day at night time they go missing. they get sucked up the intake and lost in gravel eatin by loaches.
What happens to you :?:

Hi Chris, the chances of a spawn growing up in a community tank is very small but i have heard it is possible with the right parent discus.
Any sort of catfish woukld make it harder as a lot of cats are nocturnal and will feast on the eggs or wrigglers at night time.

Definitely had them sucked up the intake & I think eaten by mistake.
My discus can be pretty stupid, but those wrigglers are just idiotic!
I got some black foam stuff to put over the intake next time.

Hi Chris
You could always try catching some of the fry & raise artificially....
