Fantastic pictures Brew3. Thanks for sending them.
He has some very beautiful fish. Does he call them Powder blue, or does he have another name for that strain.

Hi ladyred,
The majority of the discus are either BK's and RD's.
Hi Sanie,
Got back to Canada on late Friday night, it's been too hectic over there in Asia since I left Singapore on May 29th and I have been travelling back and forth between GuangZhou, Beijing and Hong Kong.
Hi Ronny,
It's nice to be back, brought back 6 young juvvies from the SE Grand Champ, 6 juvvies of 14 bars albino's and 4 Golden Red Diamond for crossing. Did too much shopping for the family and overloaded the suitcases and that's all the fish that I could bring back.
I have to sort out the pictures from the 2G memory card and will post later.

They are Violet Reflection and Blue Knight's.
Feed them a mixture of 1/3 of beefheart and 2/3 of shrimp plus multivitamins - feed them more often but in a small amount that could be consumed within 5 to 10 minutes.

Hi ladyred,
It's nice to have those lovely albino discus and the majority of breeders are usually out of stock.
Hi dreamer,
If it is X4 the price in Australia somebody is making a big profit.
Hi goldenpigeon,
It is very nice to have good and quality stock, it is a very relaxing hobby but it has it's expenses.

It doesn't come cheap. Well, those are of good quality and it's really worth investing..................

Hi goldenpigeon,
I have a lot of pictures and the majority were taken at Wayne's Ng hatchery in China and the price for those fish is compatible with other breeders.
Usually FOB for a 2" is $50.00 and $100.00 to a 3 to 4" Spotted Eruption.

Mario,
Awesome fish mate, love the albinos and se.
The prices in Oz are not that much different to Canada, certainly not 4 times the price. Around 50% more but when you take into account our extra quarantine expenses and extra handling costs we are priced competitively. I sell a high quality 2" lss for $90 which is about $80 CAD. The prices are much more in many LPS because the majority of them buy through a importer/reseller which naturally increases the price. I'm quite sure thats similar in Canada, LPS are generally much more expensive than importers(and don't have as good a fish)

Hi Rod,
Usually the discus price at the LFS are more expensive as they have higher expenses, etc.
Some hobbyist are lucky to deal directly with the breeder, good quality stock can be obtained at half the price compared to the LFS, it is costly in Australia as you mentioned due to QT issue, etc.
Good luck with Roy's(Zoids) fish.
Mario
