Ocean Green or blue diamond??

Hi, i was just wondering what this Discus is, it was sold as a Ocean Green

it is an ocean green im pretty sure. BD's and OG's look very simialar some times!

Ok as far as i know (and i own both BD & OG's)
OG's are one blue diamond crossed with a green turk then the off spring are crossed with one another and those off spring are ocean greens.

It can be rather confusing telling the 2 apart but one little trick i learnt is Sunlight!
If sunlight light shines on both types ocean greens have the real green tinge/hue about them, while blue diamonds will remain blue.

in certain angles he looks green, but usually looks blue, i suppose if he gets the green tinge he is an ocean green??

If he has the green tinge, then he is an ocean green.

They also have finer scales than the blue diamonds. Good luck with your new fish :D

picking the diffrences are not always easy.

I have countless picks which would confuse most.
