LOL Junior. Yeh, some good things have come out of NSW.
My sons' girlfriends - the Southern ones - have been complaining about my posts here so I must be careful.

As to beaches, I'm talking about the Sunshine Coast, mostly Caloundra. In the BC years (Before Crowds) you could drive your car right onto the grass bordering the sand. No need to unload the car and cart everything from a bitumen car park to the beach - the car was right there, so we came back to it for whatever we wanted.

This was when my wife was my girlfriend and her parents used to rent a holiday house right across the road from Happy Valley (between King's Beach and Bulcock Beach). We always drove to a different beach though, since we wanted to get away from the boring old f**ts whittering on about the good old days.

Now the 'Gold Coast' was good when it was still called Southport (its proper name) and you could drive right onto the grass - oh! Deja-vu!

I was wrapped when they announced that Joey was going to play - I reckon he's a top player. They started out well - got a bit slack towards the end of the first half (my neighbors would've reckoned there was a murderer loose in my place the way I was yelling), but I don't think that you could have faulted them in the second half. :wink: :wink: . Isn't it funny Junior, most of the time when the Footy is on I don't worry too much about it - I always watch the Footy Show to see how all the teams are going though, but State of Origin brings out the monster in me. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Great to see Minichiello named Man of the Match and Man of the Series - and Matty King didn't go too bad either -Three tries in the one Game, hey. He's only a Young bloke - I can see a few more Origins in him and Minichiello yet.

I watched a wrap up of the game tonight and Joey said God Willing he will be playing next Origin, he is not ready to hang his Boots up yet.

All I can say is if Queensland wants to win next year then they have a lot of homework to do.
