today i get back from my mt.gambier trip and find one of my discus has jumpen out of my tank. i am ajust pissed off

Oh no Darth. So sorry to hear that.

Discus can jump, so a tight fitting lid is essential.

I have no idea why they take it into their silly heads to jump out of the tank, but they can manage to escape through even the smallest gaps in the lid.

I find they can jump when there is high ammonia or nitrate. Sorry to hear.
