water flow

Hi all how are you? just a quick question in every book and internet site i have read they have said that Discus love slow moving water currant. Well I picked up a 3 inch soild blue on the weekend and he has done nothing except play in the filter return stream. Is this nomoral? The sb is healthy and didnt take longing to adjust to the tank. I was just wondering beacuse ive never seen it before.

discus do prefer a slower water flow but just like people they are all different.

i have some discus that spend all there time in the water flow like yours and others that don't leave the dead spot(just about no flow) in my tank

I used to have gouramis that would sit over a bubble bar, they loved it.

I think it might be like cattle rubbing against a branch, soothing.
