Red Ramshorn Snails

I introduced 10 of the above snails into my tank yesterday to help with algae. My discus tore them apart, ripped all 10 out of their shells. :x :x

I have to say, I've never had much luck with snails in my discus tanks. The discus either eat them, or they turn into snail soup in the high temperatures.

Needless to say, I've now given up on snails and employ a small army of bristlenose catfish to deal with the algae problem.

Bn's are better looking anyway :wink:
