Mysis Brine shrimp,
Please correct my spelling.
I saw a packet in my LFS,
whats the main difference between normal Brine.
Is it good stuff,
Costs $7.25 in adelaide LFS :!:

Chris,
there must be a typo on the packet as mysis shrimp are freshwater.
I used mysis shrimp with some of my discus, the ones that eat it love it but some just turn there noses up at it!
It is quite a large shrimp when you compare the size with brine shrimp.
I rcommended mysis as part of a diet for discus.

I just wanted to add one more thing,
Mysis shrimp from hikari are high in protien %10.5
while brine shrimp are %6.8

the difference between brine and mysis shrimp is mysis shrimp have softer shells. brine shrimp have harder shells

Mysis shrimps are a great food. All of my discus love them. But it did take them a while to get used to eating it.

I dont think anyone does down our way, I thought it was only available in the eastern states :?:
To my suprise they had it ay Anzacs,
Make sure you look at the hakari Black worms, it looks like a block of chocolate :!:
