I made an avatar but the only way i could make it under 12k was to make it a .GIF which made the quality poor, i was wondering how did everyone else do theirs while keeping a quality picture..

Mine is the same one I use in all the forums. At one point I had to have it resized because it was to big. I had e-mailed it to Proteusand he did it for me then I just save it in a file and now I can add it to whatever I want.

I use Animation Shop 3

I have found it is better at resizing .GIF files
