Hi. I've been planning on giving my adult Discus pair a heat treatment (with 34 degrees celcius as maximum temperature). I've however been adviced that heat treatment is not recommended for adult discus, it is only recommended for young. Supposedly heat treatment can lead to swim bladder issues with adults. For those of you experienced in using heat treatments - does this match with your experience or do you think it is safe using heat treatment for adults?
I in the EU and do not have access to Metro. The medications available in the EU I've tried, haven't yielded very good results. Heat treatment has worked well for me before, so I'm keen to use it againg unless those of you more experienced than me in this matter i, advice against it.
Regards
