Butler's Grunter seems like a good large fish as tank mates with discus
any idears?

Interesting looking fish, but I have to say, that streamline shape worries me a bit. It usually indicates a fast moving fish, and as you know, our discus are far from that. They do prefer quiet, calm tankmates. They could be quite suitable as juveniles, but a 20 cm fish dashing around a tank is guaranteed to upset your discus.

Juveniles are suitable for keeping in aquaria, but adults are timid and easily alarmed.
The adult comment worries me somewhat
